Budget Nail Files & Buffers
For this week's in-depth product review, I would like to take a look at our very own “Viva La Nails” budget nail files and buffers. If you are in search of great nail files but don't feel comfortable with the high out of pocket expense of EzFlow or IBD files, you might want to consider these high quality but inexpensive products. We carry these items in packs of five and sell them for a competitive price.
When it comes to nail files, one size DOES NOT fit all. We completely understand that as a nail art technician, you need to have several different grades on file. That's why we carry files with abrasive qualities from 80 grit all the way to 360 grit.
For removing overlays, we recommend using a low grit file such as 80 or 100 grit. These files will have the most abrasive texture. For general work on artificial nails, we recommend going to a slightly higher grit such as 180. For natural nails, you can go to a super fine grit nail file such as 240 grit or 360 grit. This provides the least abrasive action on your client's nails.
Often, you will often need more than one single grit file for a single job. For example, you might need to use a rough file such as an 80 grit file for smoothing down an old overlay, but a 180 grit file for blending. In order to accommodate this fact, we offer many of our files with a different grit on each side.
Combinations such as 100/180 and the 120/180 are the most popular. This allows you to avoid having to switch files during the middle of a job.
For quality nail files and buffers that won't break your budget, there may be no better choice. We even offer buffers and files with three or four different filing surfaces, so that you can file, smooth, and buffer all with a single instrument.
With a buffer, you bring a daringly brilliant shine to your client's nails. This is a great way to improve the overall quality of your service. You'll bring a smile to your client's faces when they are confronted with the sparkling brilliance of their new nails.
One of our most popular models is the 3-way buffer, which comes in a block with a different filing surface on each side. Each surface contains a different grit ranging from course to fine.
By using these surfaces in succession, you can create an unparalleled shine. The first side creates a smooth nail surface, the second side diminishes scratches, and the third side brings the entire nail surface to a glossy finish.
We are proud to offer an excellent selection of both buffers and nail files at budget conscious prices. Each buffer or file that leaves our warehouse is packed in its own resealable plastic bag, preventing scratching or damage during the shipping process.
